Without doubt: 18th century was one of the heydays of Würzburg’s history. Well-known architects such as Antonio Petrini, Josef Greissing and Balthasar Neumann helped to transform the medieval coined town into a representative baroque place. They left us buildings such as Stift Haug Church, Juliusspital, Neumüster Church, Augustiner Church, and the famous pilgrimmage church Käppele. The tour leads to the important baroque monuments in the Old City and includes stories about everyday life in the time of baroque.
