Join me on a “time travel” in the Hubland Quarter. On the 1.5 to 2-hour guided tour you will learn about the eventful history of the Würzburg Hubland. It’s about aviation, about the history in the National Socialistic era, and the Leighton Barracks, the name of the US-army base that was here for more than 60 years.
At present, a completely new district for about 5,000 people is being built at the Hubland. The site is also an important component of the “sciences landscape” in the immediate vicinity of the university.
